Houston, Texas –
Last Thursday, an alleged armed robber crept up behind a manager at a Texas check cashing store and put gun to his head. What happened next completely turned the tables.
The attempted robbery occurred in broad daylight at approximately 8:30AM as the manager was entering the business. Houston police reported that “when the [manager] went to open the door, the gun was already put at the back of his head.”
After realizing there was a handgun pointed at the back of his head, the manager was then able to take control of the situation. He then managed to draw his own handgun and fire four times, hitting the suspect in the chest twice. He later died from his wounds.
Police are conducting an investigation, reports offered that a vehicle may have been seen across the street with a possible second suspect.
